Minnesota Quality Improvement Project (MnQIP)

The Minnesota Quality Improvement Project (MnQIP) was organized to support collaboration among Minnesota State Colleges and Universities interested in the principles and practices which foster Continuous Quality Improvement.

The original membership came from those institutions who responded to a January 2001 survey that they were either committed to or planned a commitment to the Higher Learning Commission's alternative accreditation approach called the Academic Quality Improvement Process (AQIP). Recently, participation was opened to all colleges and universities (following acknowledgement from current participants) who want to collaborate by attending monthly meetings, sharing of quality practices and participating in other sponsored activities consistent with MnQIP's purposes.
